Domain Name Thoughts

I have been recently thinking about how the search engines rank websites and one of the clearest finding is that if you have an exact match domain name for the search string entered it is relatively easy to get a top seach engine ranking. That is not to say all exact matches will get top ranking, however, if the match is exact and the site is somewhat optimized it has a good chance of being high on the front page of the search engines. I will be running and experiment shortly on a domain name that I have that gets a lot of searches after the first of the year for income tax that will be due in April. If all goes well, I hope to have the number one ranking for the search term in all the major search engines. I will keep my readers abrest of the progress. have a great Holiday Season.
